Closet Paralysis

It seems recently that every time I walk into my closet I can't find anything to wear.  I certainly don't have a lack of clothing, but when the seasons change I'm left standing there, staring with a blank expression.  What exactly DID I wear last Spring, Summer, Winter?  Honestly, my closet needs an intense overhaul because I know I wore something, but I can't seem to figure out what it was!  I know every girl has this problem, but why do we?  How can we possibly stand in a closet surrounded by rows  and piles of clothes and still exclaim I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!?

p.s. isn't Lucy so cute hanging out in my closet?  She is such a delight!  And yes, that is a hulla hoop in the back by the window.
