I have to say, it was a rather successful trip to the antique shop today. I took a trip down the street to Old Town Ellicott City, which is a cute part of town loaded with antique shops, restaurants and tons of people on the weekend. I found a large antique shop and started scanning all the nooks and crannies of the store for just the right teacup. First, I found this lovely teapot and I thought to myself "well I can't exactly pour tea without a proper teapot!" So I picked it up. It's circa 1940's gorgeous and in excellent condition. After rummaging through the 17,000 square foot store, main floor, downstairs and upstairs, I finally came across this incredible teacup. It's special because it was made by Paragon by appointment for the Queen's coronization in 1953. The picture below details the writing on the back. I immediately fell in love.

What a find on that cup! And the color of that pot is absolutely gorgeous.
